We were asked to pitch on campaign that would emphasize Goodby's quirky fun scripts and visually shift the TD Ameritrade brand into a realm that is fun and approachable. The visuals are a juxtaposition of hand crafted pencil illustrations that move in imperfect and organic ways with colorful graphs and charts.
As the space takes form the graphics are built to work in tandem with the implied geometry, camera movement, and perspective of the illustrations, giving the illustrations a playful nod toward realism. The overall takeaway is colorful, optimistic, and dimensional.
Unfortunately, we didn't win this one, but we came painfully close and I was very happy with the results.
